What We Do

EP2 seeks to improve the quality of life for urban children/youth and their families through empowerment strategies that enhance knowledge and critical thinking skills, clarify values, and create viable priorities for productive living. In addition to working with families and communities EP2 must engage service providers and members of the general public in accomplishing its mission. EP2 accepts tax-free monetary donations and in-kind contributions in support of its programs.

Summer Camps

Six-week health and wellness camp that focuses on fun activities and events while dealing with healthy lifestyle changes: Obesity,  chronic diseases and nutrition. Includes a

1-week family workshop series entitled:

"Health Checks = Healthy Living."

Urban Gardening

Teaching the youth and families to start their own garden will allow them to use and introduce a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs in their home at little cost to the family.  This will also foster in the youth the ability to grow and harvest their own foods.
